East Division team hosts annual Maryland run

Texas Quarry hosted the 4th Annual Crusher Run, with this year’s event attracting another record-breaking number of participants.

Located in Cockeysville, Maryland, the 2026 run drew more than 585 racers, providing each with a unique opportunity to run through the quarry and get a firsthand look at the operation.

Supported by partners Gray & Son Inc. and the Maryland Transportation Builders & Materials Association, the event raised over $93,000 for two nonprofit organizations: Construction Angels Inc., which supports families affected by fatal construction accidents, and Athletes Serving Athletes, which empowers individuals with limited mobility to participate in running events alongside volunteer athletes.

“What an incredible outcome. This achievement reflects the generosity, hard work and support of everyone involved,” said Office Manager Trevor Hedrick. “We should be proud of what has been accomplished.”
