8 Martin Marietta scholars start college off on the right foot

Martin Marietta awarded eight partial college scholarships in 2019, providing thousands of dollars in tuition assistance for children of company employees.

The award, which provides $3,500 for each student annually for up to four years, is given to students who excel both inside and outside of the classroom and who demonstrate a true commitment to community service.

This year's winners are:

• Bruce Banks IV - Ferris State University

• Rio Bonham - Oklahoma State University

• Lanie Fulk - The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

• Chaz May - East Carolina University

• Angelica Morales - Baylor University

• Aly Singer - Indiana University Bloomington

• Josh Singer - Georgia College and State University

• Noah Waxler - Oklahoma State University
