Martin Marietta Materials has been named to the 2009 list of Fortune Magazine's "World's Most Admired Companies," finishing first among companies in its industry category. This is the fifth time Martin Marietta has been recognized on Fortune's annual ranking (following 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008). It is the second time that the Company has topped the "Building Materials, Glass" industry list.
