Honor Plants |
Each year, Martin Marietta honors select quarries for outstanding safety, environmental, public service and production practices. Developed in 1986, the Honor Plant program not only focuses on a plant’s operations, it also places a strong focus on our employees’ efforts to foster our tradition of being good stewards of the land - making us even better neighbors.

Chairman’s Pinnacle Awards |
From the pool of Summit winners each year, one employee or team in each of the above categories is chosen to receive the Company’s highest honor – a Chairman’s Pinnacle Award. First awarded in 2001, Pinnacle Awards honor the “Best of the Best” among Martin Marietta employees.
